Dental Hygienist and therapist Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy (Sheffield 2007) with Distinction | GDC No. 114831 Victoria has worked as a dental hygienist at Glen Dental since 2011.
Victoria enjoys working alongside our dentists to help patients achieve and maintain healthy mouths. A regular attendee at dental meetings and courses, Victoria enjoys keeping up-to-date with our dynamic profession. She has a calm and caring nature and gets satisfaction from helping patients to overcome their fears and anxieties related to dentistry. Her aim is to improve and maintain her patients’ oral health through evidence based care.
She focuses her treatments as being both effective and comfortable and feels that patient education is a large component to treatment.
Outside of work, Victoria loves spending time with her two young children and enjoys all aspects of food. Cooking it, eating it, reading about it, looking at it!

This was my first treatment at Glen Dental and the experience was all round very comfortable and felt minimally invasive. Ricky took his time with the treatment and was very meticulous with the great results coming through, which I'm very happy with. "Like a lot of people I'm not overjoyed at going to the dentist and I'd had a particularly difficult experience at my previous surgery so I was very anxious.
From the very first phone call with the genuine and understanding receptionist to the initial review with the dentist and the eventual filling I needed, everything was calm and reassuring.
The waiting room doesn't smell or sound like a traditional dentist which was a huge relief. The dentist patiently listened to my concerns and made every effort to make it easier for me.
I was prepared for some pain but the system they use delivered the anaesthetic effectively and I honestly felt nothing other than a single sharp scratch and the mild vibration of the drill. It was a revelation!
I would highly recommend to anyone who is feeling anxious about treatment. Their fees are clearly stated and they consult with you about each item of the treatment plan they suggest so no nasty surprises when you come to pay. A positive experience from start to finish."

I was so nervous but from the first phonecall I felt at ease with them. Jo is a diamond and so welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. She has a personal touch that really makes you feel comfortable in these situations.
Ricky is my dentist and him and his lovely assistant really made me feel so much calmer and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of my deep cleaning. I’m now on a dental plan with them and can already notice a huge difference in my gums firming back up!
